DESCRIPTION:
• A rutile all-position mild steel electrode
for general shop and sheet metal work.
• The electrode welds relatively cold which
makes it ideally suited for bridging large
gaps i.e. where poor fit-up occurs and for
tacking.
WELD METAL COMPOSITION:
• %Carbon 0,05-0,10; % Manganese 0,35-0,60,
%Silicon 0,20-0,50, %Sulphur 0,025max;
%Phosphorus 0,025 max
MECHANICAL PROPERTIES
(All weld metal as welded)
• Yield strength 400 Mpa min;
• Tensile strength 460-530Mpa
• %Elongation on 50mm 24 min;
• Charpy V-notch at +20 • C 70j min and
at 0• C 50j min
